What We Do

We teach girls to approach challenges with an engineer’s mindset, turning their curiosity into creative problem-solving. We help them discover how their experiences fuel their ability to thrive in both STEM and everyday life.

Creativity

At the heart of TheSTEMGirl.

In a world overflowing with information and shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), we know that creativity is that very human element that it is more valuable than ever.

Our books blend a sense of whimsy with the very real STEM concepts and our writing kits are designed with girls in mind to inspire the authenticity that the world so desperately needs today. 

By giving girls a space to explore and express their ideas, we help them enhance their ability to think and problem-solve.

Confidence

Not just a feeling.

Confidence goes beyond being brave or speaking for yourself. It is a collective system of moments that culminate in girls finding their voice and basking in their authenticity.

All our books feature girls with multi-faceted personalities, taking risks and experiencing the joy of learning. By weaving self-efficacy, the belief that hard things are possible and a mindset of learning from failure into our content, we transform confidence into an active way of being.

Critical Thinking

By using the Engineering Design method at our core, we aim to help girls understand systems thinking, so that they have the mindset required to navigate a complex world with an overload of information.

In a world where AI is prevalent, we want girls to:

  • Focus on the 21st-century skills, including problem-solving, risk analysis, and AI literacy.

  • Use design thinking to approach challenges creatively and confidently.
